There’s no “right” way to use this blog - which is very on-brand for tarot, really - but here are a few ideas if you like a bit of structure:
1. Dip In Daily (or Whenever You Remember)
Each day has its own post, tied to the calendar date. You can read it in the morning, at lunchtime, late at night, or three days later because life happened. The tarot will not be offended. Probably.
2. Treat It as a Prompt, Not a Pronouncement
These posts aren’t predictions carved into stone. Think of them as:
-
a question to sit with
-
a theme to notice during the day
-
a story or image to reflect on
-
or something to completely disagree with (politely!)
If a card sparks a thought or a conversation, it’s done its job.
3. Pull Your Own Cards Alongside It
If you read tarot yourself, you can use the daily post as a jumping-off point:
-
pull the same card and see what your deck says
-
draw a clarifier
-
try the featured spread
-
or ask how the theme shows up in your own life
If you don’t read tarot, you’re still very welcome to just enjoy the ideas and imagery.
4. Skip Around
Missed a week? Start again today.
Feeling drawn to a particular card? Jump straight to it.
Using this as a reference rather than a strict daily ritual is completely valid.
5. Join the Conversation
The comments are open, and I genuinely enjoy hearing other perspectives. Share how the card landed for you, how you’d read it differently, or what it reminded you of - as long as we’re all being kind about it.
6. Remember: This Is Meant to Be Fun
Tarot can be deep, emotional, and profound… and it can also be playful, curious, and occasionally a bit ridiculous. This calendar leans into both.
If you come away with a moment of insight, a new way of looking at a card, or even just a quiet “huh, that’s interesting”, then it’s working.
Do you prefer tarot as a daily ritual, an occasional check-in, or a purely curiosity-driven wander?
