The Moon Across Decks 🎴✨

I'm afraid of what I'm risking if I follow you into the unknown

The Moon is the card of secrets held and revealed, of uncertainty and mystery, and of choosing whether to continue without knowing all the answers. Traditionally it shows a crayfish rising out of the water under a moon - but some artists stray a little from that.

---

1. Sante Muerte — Cultural design

A young woman crouches over a body of water with the moon reflected in it. Her own reflection reveals a terrible truth - not a healthy woman but a skeleton looks back at her. The moon can bring hidden secrets to light whether we want it to or not.

Moon Vibes:

• 🧪 Key themes: Self-discovery, perception, hidden identity
• 🎨 Emotional tone: Unsettling, introspective, vulnerable
• ✨ Unique: Discovering something hidden within yourself

---

2. Dark Grimoire — Terrifying truths

A man runs along a path under the light of the full moon, pursued by misshapen demons. The moon reveals things we might rather stayed hidden.

Moon Vibes:

• 🧪 Key themes: Fear, uncertainty, imagination
• 🎨 Emotional tone: Frantic, frightening, disorientating
• ✨ Unique: Not knowing whether the danger is real

---

3. Everyday Witch — Modern and friendly

In this card a housecat looks into a lake under the moon and sees himself reflected as a fierce panther. The moon can reveal our truths as well as our hidden secrets.

Moon Vibes:

• 🧪 Key themes: Hidden potential, instinct, self-discovery
• 🎨 Emotional tone: Curious, mysterious, empowering
• ✨ Unique: Seeing a stronger self beneath the surface

---

Reflection:
Across decks, the Moon explores what lies beneath the surface - hidden truths, fears and possibilities we don't yet understand. What part of your life needs the Moon's light shone on it today?

Judgement Across Decks 🎴✨

I can see clearly now

Judgement is widely regarded as one of the trickier cards in the deck, and the very religious art of the RWS deck can make that even harder. At its core, though, the idea is a simple one; Judgement calls us to face our past, take the lessons we've learned and let go of what doesn't serve us. Easy in theory! Across decks, this idea is represented in a few different ways.

---

1. Sante Muerte — Joyful in death

The cheerful Sante Muerte deck has kept the coffin symbols of the RWS, but transforms it into something new. The skeleton rising is joyful, welcomed by loved ones rather than awed by divine forces.

Judgement Vibes:

• 🧪 Key themes: family, taking your place
  🎨 Emotional tone: celebration, enjoyment
✨ Unique: Like Día de los Muertos, it celebrates death as transition, not loss

---

2. Kids' Tarot — Bright and gentle

The Kids' Tarot renamed a few cards to make them easier for children to understand. In this deck, Judgement has become Forgiveness; whether it's the child or the phoenix in this image that made the mistake, they've clearly faced up to it and are ready to move forward.

Judgement Vibes:

• 🧪 Key themes: found family, facing your failures
🎨 Emotional tone: togetherness, moving forward
✨ Unique: The Kids' Tarot was designed to help children explain complex emotions in a simple way.

---

3. Dragon Tarot — Dark and detailed

Perched on a high cliff, this dragon sees all and knows all. There’s a sense that nothing escapes its gaze - and nothing goes unaccounted for.

Judgement Vibes:

• 🧪 Key themes: Watchfulness
  🎨 Emotional tone: Coldness
✨ Unique: This deck loves hiding tiny details in the artwork - see the scales carved into the rock below the dragon?

---

Reflection:

At heart, Judgement asks us to face ourselves honestly - not with fear, but with openness.

Some decks make that process feel joyful.
Some make it gentle.
Some remind us it can be uncomfortable.

But the message is the same:
acknowledge what’s been, and step forward changed.

Where is Judgement calling you to be honest with yourself right now?
