Page of Swords Across Decks ๐ด✨
I want to know - can you show me?
The Page of Swords is anyone who's trying to learn something new - mostly commonly a young person, but the Page can refer to the spirit as well as the body. This person can be a bit too sure of themselves, irritating other people by insisting on sharing their knowledge. But they can also be very helpful.
1. Mindscapes Tarot — Landscapes of the mind
All the court cards in this deck are from the point of view of the character. Here we can see the Page out exploring in a hot air balloon, learning by doing.
Page of Swords Vibes:
๐งช Key themes: He's engaged in the task, getting his hands dirty, not just studying academically.
๐จ Emotional tone: Involved, engaged, interested.
✨ Unique: This is the only deck I've seen that uses this point of view in its courts.
2. Universal Celtic Tarot — Magical, symbolic
The Universal Celtic deck uses rich colour and symbolism in its cards. This Page is eager to put his lessons to work and start hunting with his bird.
Page of Sword Vibes:
๐งช Key themes: Practise, work, partnership
๐จ Emotional tone: Practical, hard working
✨ Unique: Birds are often used to symbolise swords
3. Cosy Witch Tarot — Friendly, gentle, affirming
The Cosy Witch is a friendly deck. This Page is standing at a Little Free Library, deciding what she wants to study next.
Page of Swords Vibes:
๐งช Key themes: Education, making your own choices
๐จ Emotional tone: Open, options
✨ Unique: The mantra on this card reads 'curiosity is a type of magic'
Reflection:
Across these cards, the Pages learn by study or by doing. Whatever way you learn is valid; whether it's out in the field doing the thing, or reading studies and lessons at home, it's all learning.
