Feb 5 - One Card a Day

Feeling overwhelmed by your tarot deck? Ten, seventy-eight, or even more cards can seem daunting. Here’s the good news: one card a day is plenty.

How it works:

  1. Each morning (or whenever you like), draw a single card from your deck.

  2. Take a moment to study it: look at the imagery, notice any symbols, and let your intuition stir.

  3. Consider what the card might be teaching you for that day — a theme, a challenge, or a spark of inspiration.

Why it’s enough:

  • It builds a habit without feeling overwhelming.

  • You get to know your deck gradually, learning each card’s energy and personality over time.

  • You can still do bigger spreads when you want, but daily draws keep the practice fresh and personal.

Tips for making it fun:

  • Keep a journal of each day’s card - write a few words, a sentence, or a little story.

  • Pair it with a reflective question: “How does this card show up in my day?” or “What can I learn from this card today?”

  • Try it with friends - compare cards and interpretations for a social twist.
