Justice Across Decks 🎴✨
Every scale has its weight, every act has its fate
Justice is about seeing things clearly, facing the consequences of our actions, and keeping things fair. Traditionally it involves scales, blindfolds and judges in wigs, although modern decks have changed a few things.
1. Clarity Tarot — Minimalist
Minimalist doesn't have to mean basic. This card shows the scales with a pair of eyes watching from above; Justice is watching at all times.
Justice Vibes:
🧪 Key themes: Truth, accountability, awareness
🎨 Emotional tone: Watchful, serious, uncompromising
✨ Unique: Nothing escapes the eye of Justice
2. Everyday Witch — Modern
The Everyday Witch leans close to the RWS classic, with a woman sitting on a throne, holding a scales. In this version, though, she's blindfolded, and the scales hold fighting cats. Not easy to keep balanced!
Justice Vibes:
🧪 Key themes: Fairness, balance, impartiality
🎨 Emotional tone: Tense, lively, slightly exasperated
✨ Unique: Weighing both sides when neither is making it easy
3. Wizard's Tarot — Colourful
In this deck the scales of Justice sit alone on a desk. There's no one in sight. But Justice continues whether anyone is present or not. It's almost independent of us.
Justice Vibes:
🧪 Key themes: Consequences, integrity, natural order
🎨 Emotional tone: Quiet, solemn, inevitable
✨ Unique: Justice continues even when nobody is there to enforce it
Reflection:
Across decks, Justice emphasises the importance of truth, integrity and consequences in our choices. Where in your life would a clear-eyed decision make a difference?
